So please check it out this only store in Toronto that sells the finest Canadian handcrafts. http://www.theguildshop.ca/collections/robert-wu

Oh, yes, forgot to mention that because of the Guild Shop, my works were selected to represent Canadian fine crafts to participate in 2009 International Craft Biennale in Cheongju, Korea..It's the biggest world fair in fine crafts! and subsquently I got an certificate from Canada's House of Commons congratulating me in my contribution to bookbinding art in Canada from MP Bob Rae! Who would have guessed!

Album Marbled Graphics acquired by Harvard

I recently completed an one-of-a-kind book called "Album Marbled Graphics" and it contains specimens of my original marbled graphics between the years 2006- 2009. I am very pleased to announce that it was purchased by Harvard University and is now part of the Houghton library's Special Collection. I am very honoured.

Marbled Paper Stationery Product Line

I am pleased to be offering my product line online - Marbled Paper Stationery.... Please check them out under my "Products" page. There you can find: marbled paper cards, bookmarks, pencils, business card holder, marbled paper picture frame, marbled paper origami, etc.. Beautiful, practical at resonable prices. Each item is handcrafted by me one at the time with my own marbled paper.
Marbled paper stationery was once popular during the Italian Reneissance era when bookbinders and stationers were one of the same trade creating stationery and binding books. I am sure people nowadays will enjoy and appreciate using these beautiful and practical traditional crafts when everything else nowadays is cheaply mass-produced and disposable.

2009 Designer Bookbinders UK International Bookbinding Competition

This paper binding (millimeter binding style) was covered with my own marbled graphics "Sumi-Cloud". The title of the book is called "Water" and was letterpress printed by hand with original woodcut prints. I completed this binding for the Designer Bookbinders’ International Bookbinding Competition 2009. It is among the 125 bindings selected to be exhibited in the Bodleian Library, Oxford UK (invitation image shown above) and the subsequent tour in the USA.

So, my debut at the One-of-a-Kind Spring Show in Toronto was a success! People loved what the saw and they were mesmerized by my marbled graphics....Thanks to those who had helped me...It was hardwork hardwork and more hardwork....but I am glad that the experience was unforgettable.....See you all at the Cabbagetown Art and Crafts in September after the labour day weekend........

The above shot is my booth display at the show..and me hard at work....explaining to customers about the process of marbling and my work...I love talking to people and sharing my passion with them...The booth looks very nice considering we had to bring every thing right down to the carpet !!!......I was very happy indeed!
